I am Kata Géczi. Accountant-cook or vice versa. Actually, it doesn't really matter, I just wrote this to let you know that since I'm a full-time accountant, cooking is not a job for me anymore, it's a love, a fun, a passion. I've been in the kitchen since I was little, my first job was as a cook with my grandmother 😊Then, after some persuasion, I chose finance for a while, but the flame was only turned on to save, so I worked in catering, using all my free time. I was on all sides, on the counter, serving and mainly in kitchens, I put my knowledge to the test like mud. I've cooked for events, weddings for hundreds, worked in pizzerias, sushi bars, catered, cooked in kitchens....word...I've admired the beauty and the downside of it all. Then came the decision that I would become a chef if I lived that long, so I finished school under the wings of two great teachers, Zoltán Jarábik and Róbert Bede. I never gave up on classical cuisine, but for some time now I have been passing on my knowledge through courses, mini thematic workshops and helping others to fall in love with cooking. I'm a matchmaker, if you like 😊 And seriously, obviously the profession itself is beautiful and extremely diverse so I'm constantly educating myself. If I'm interested in a new flavour I go and learn it, taste it, prepare it and pass on the knowledge. Besides classic Hungarian cuisine, I love Thai, Indonesian, Italian, French flavours and recipes, and I try to reform everything to make it healthy, which is why I work with EatFit, who have a lot of my own reformed recipes. Although I'm not a pastry chef, I do date desserts and the sympathy is mutual 😊 If I have any spare time I'm pulling trucks as a hobby so don't panic, I'll do it all with my mind or my words, ultimately with my strength, don't think too much, come and cook
